Often referred to as the “Baby Grange” this wine combines in almost equal parts the organisation of Cabernet with the opulence of Shiraz. A nose of dark berries and plums, chocolate, mint, pepper and cedar oak and a long smooth palate of rich mulberries and cherries, liquorice, dried herbs and a hint of tobacco. A well loved Australian wine that would serve as a perfect accompaniment to hearty meat dishes of beef, duck and game, and lamb.
